ICMP offers sellers several locations to enter key information that will assist with poster sales. We expect all information listed in these fields to be true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Providing effective poster descriptions attracts buyers and contributes to increased sales. ICMP recommends the following information be included in poster descriptions:
Sellers may use the Terms of Sale field to state their business policies such as payment options, Return policies, and other important information potential buyers should know. The terms of sale are viewable on the poster details screen and the seller info page. Return/refund policies cannot conflict with the terms outlined in the ICMP Seller Agreement and the Returns policy.
Any extra information the seller would like displayed with every online poster listings can be entered in the poster info field. The poster info field is viewable on the poster details page.
The shipping terms field allows sellers to communicate their shipping information to buyers throughout the checkout process. This can include average weight of a poster, how items are packaged, if pricing includes insurance, etc. The shipping terms field is viewable from the poster details page, and through all of the checkout pages.
Sellers may not redirect buyers by means of their poster descriptions, terms of sale, shipping terms, or poster information to another Web site as an alternative to ICMP for making their purchases. Sellers may not promote the benefits of another Web site or purchasing method through their poster descriptions, terms of sale, or poster information on ICMP. Once a buyer has placed an order through ICMP, sellers may not reject orders and then contact the buyer to sell the same item through another method. Any seller found to be redirecting customers to another Web site is subject to a warning and possible removal from the ICMP Web sites, at the discretion of ICMP.
Sellers should not include any reference to shipping, purchase methods, or any information contradictory to ICMP policies in the information fields. ICMP will, at our discretion, review and edit these fields to remove HTML code and any unacceptable text.
Sellers should not include contact information in the information fields. This includes phone or fax numbers, e-mail or web site addresses, or shipping addresses. ICMP provides designated fields for the following contact information:
