9. Your Account

Sellers are required to keep their account information up to date at all times. ICMP reserves the right to withhold payment to accounts with incomplete or inaccurate account information.

a. Account Closure

You may close your account at any time. The account will be reverted into buyer status with the same e-mail address and password. You can search for items, make purchases and list up to 500 wants free of charge.

An account closure does not occur immediately. Item listings can be removed the same day, but the account will remain in seller status until the end of the next billing period. We require any outstanding balances to be paid, and unresolved Returns to be finalized and refunded prior to final closure of the account. Subscriptions fees are billed for an entire month and are not prorated.

b. Valid Contact Information

ICMP relies on e-mail to communicate information to sellers. It is vital that sellers keep their e-mail functioning at all times and check it on a regular basis.

Sellers should keep their account information current. This includes the mailing address, phone number, banking information, homepage, and credit card details for payment. Valid contact information is necessary so both buyers and ICMP can contact our sellers.

c. Responding to E-mail

Sellers are expected to respond to all queries, including potential buyers and ICMP staff, within two business days.

d. Payment to Sellers

ICMP will make payments for item cost and shipping for orders where ICMP collects payment. As an Internet-based company, ICMP seeks to conduct business in a cost-effective manner by using electronic means wherever possible. Setting up Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is the most efficient way for sellers to receive payments from ICMP. All sellers should provide EFT information, using the "Your personal information" link on the Members Menu. This is also recommended for sellers who process their own credit card payments in the event we have reason to transfer funds to your account.

EFT is fast and convenient, as the funds are sent from our bank account to your bank. Your bank then puts the money into your account. You will not have to wait for checks to arrive or worry they may be delayed in the mail. EFT can only be used to deposit funds; ICMP cannot remove money from your bank account without your permission. As most financial institutions now administer a fee for cashing checks, having automatic EFT saves you money.

Payment by EFT is required for the following countries:

Sellers in these countries must provide banking information; ICMP will not issue checks to EFT-eligible countries. ICMP will add countries to the list as banking services become available. Sellers will be notified and given 30 days to provide banking information.

Sellers residing outside of these countries will be paid monthly by check, in US funds. Seller may consider opening a bank account in one of the above countries in order to receive regular automatic payments. Sellers who fall under the ICMP European Agreement will be paid in Euros (EUR) or Great Britain Pounds (GBP). Please note, returned checks and failed EFTs are subject to service fees.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring banking information associated with their account is kept up to date.
